Joseph, an international student of SAU says his internship with Shenyang Blower Works Group (SBW) will enhance his future career prospects.
SAU students have long enjoyed access to a large number of internship opportunities with on campus internships, including many laboratories located inside the university.
But with most students now aiming for a career unlimited by borders, a number of SAU students are taking part in internship opportunities off the campus.

Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering student Joseph is one of them, having recently completed a moth-long internship with SBW.
Joseph and his classmates secured the internship through Admission and Career Planning office, a leading provider of internship placements in SAU.
The adviser of the office says there are an increasing number of students who are seeking internship opportunities in the world’s fastest growing major economy.
Having been staying for 4 years, Joseph did not suffer from ‘culture shock’ during his internship period, but he notes that the company goes to a lot of effort to ensure international students make a non-stressful transition to China.
Joseph and other international students were involved with a diverse range of practical engineering studies during their time with SBW, including lectures on SBW products’ specific features and work principles as well on-site visit with Engineers of SAU,
Other students say the experience gave them skills that they could not have learned in a classroom.“In our future career we know we will have to possess not only professional skills, but also problem solving, communication and time management skills and the ability to adapt,” says a student from Pakistan.

“Fortunately, we learned all these skills from my successful internship experience and on top of this we made a lot of life-long friends.”
