On May 8, 2012, Mr Yang Nengqiang, Director of International Affairs Department from Western Oregon University, USA paid a visited SAU, aiming at establishing bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
Prof. Li Haifeng, Vice-President of SAU met the delegation and enjoyed a nice and friendly conversation with them, concerning general introduction of two sides, student exchange program, pilot training program and proposals for both cooperation and improvements in university teaching. The cordial and fruitful conversation was concluded by a memo signed between two sides, with a desire for further cooperation in the future.
Later, Ms Pearl Liu, Deputy Dean of International Education College of SAU, greeted the guests at Friendship Villa, where the delegation had a visit and were impressed by both the living and study facilities of Friendship Villa.
