A delegation from Taiwan Association of Liaoning Province visited SAU on March 29, 2012. The delegation was received by Professor Wang Wei, Chairman of SAU Board and directors of relevant departments. Subsequently, both parties had a general conversation and discussion in administrative meeting room of the university.

The meeting was hosted by Professor Li Haifeng, Vice-president of SAU, and both parties recognized that current situation between mainland China and Taiwan provides great opportunities for boosting academic cooperation between universities in Liaoning and Taiwan. It was also observed that the university, such as SAU has a great potential for cooperation and collaboration in teaching, research, and academic development. Memories of the winter campus activities held at SAU were also recalled during the meeting and the parties agreed that the event had strengthened the friendship and cooperation between young people of Liaoning Province and Taiwan.

   The The delegation visited academic buildings and facilities at SAU after the meeting, and a silk banner  was conferred to SAU.
