On the morning of March 21, 2012, the international students at SAU paid a visit to the commercial aircrafts manufacturing workshop of Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC).

This visit attracted more than 80 students to visit the workshop, where a joint-venture between SAC and Bombardier Canada was built. The students visit the Floor and bulkhead modification workshop, doors for DASH-8 airplane workshop and etc.

Students took group photos after the visit. More visits are expected to hold soon.

Briefings about SAC

Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (SAC) is a Chinese civilian and military aircraft manufacturer located in Shenyang. Founded in 1953, it is one of the oldest aircraft manufacturers in the People's Republic of China. Many aircraft manufacturers in China such as Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group or Guizhou Aircraft Industry Co. were founded with help from Shenyang. The company mainly focuses on designing and manufacturing fighter aircraft and is a subsidiary of AVIC.
