On 17th December 2011, a delegation from Tribhuvan University, Nepal formed by Prof. Dr. Bharat Raj Pahari, Dean of Institute of Engineering,  Prof. Dr. Triratna Bajracharya, Director of Centre for Energy Studies, and  Dr. Rajendra Shrestha, Director of Mechanical Engineering Department, paid a visited to SAU and attended the graduation ceremony for Class 080301 Aeronautical Engineering BEng of SAU.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr Richard Chen, Dean of International Education College of SAU.

A cordial talk concerning academic research cooperation and faculties & students exchange program between the two parties was conducted. The delegations expressed their excitement and great expectation to the cooperation in the near future.

Mr. Richard Chen looked back to the friendship between the two nations through the ages. He praised the prosperous development of China’s economy during the years and emphasized the function of education contributing to the cause. He encouraged the cooperation between SAU and Tibhuvan University, hoping more and more aviation professionals will be raised by the joint efforts of the two universities.

Later in the day, the delegation finished a tour to the labs and sport centre of SAU with great satisfaction. They also paid a visit to Gotair Aircrafts Manufacturing Corp, where the internship was taken this year.
