Hosted by Association of Computer Graphical International(ACG) and the faculty of animation and digital media, College of Art and Design of SAU, the “International New Media in Universities” symposium was held in SAU.
Mr Sebastian Carrillo, the Oscar special effects master gave an excellent lecture to SAU students. The lecture focused on digital making in international CG industry, shared experience on concept design, international talents training and digit art training, and helped students to broaden their views of fine arts.
Hand sketching masters also came to SAU, and gave lectures on this newly emerged art sector in China. The exhibition on state-of-art theories and works attracted hundreds of SAU art fans and their counterparts from other universities in north-eastern China.
