On March 15th, Mr. Tanka Prasad Karki, Nepalese Ambassador to China, and delegation from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, visited SAU, and met with Prof. Wang Wei, Chairman of University Board.
MOU, concerning on the academic research cooperation and faculties & students exchange program between the two parties, was signed.
Prof. Madhab Prasad Sharma, President of Tribhuvan University, made brief introduction of his university to Prof. Wang Wei on the meeting. He expressed his excitement and great expectation to the cooperation in the near future.
Mr. Karki looked back to the friendship between the two nations through the ages. He praised the prosperous development of China’s economy during the years and emphasized the function of education contributing to the cause. He encouraged the cooperation between SAU and Tibhuvan University, hoping more and more aviation professionals will be raised by the joint efforts of the two universities.
Later in the day, the delegation finished a tour to the labs of SAU with great satisfaction. They also met with the Nepalese student body studying in SAU. It already had 17 students and welcoming the new to join.
