On March 8th, a lecture on Human Factors in Aircraft Maintenance by Mr. Peter D. Durran was given to the international students of SAU.
Mr. Durran is a very experienced Aircraft Engineer Ground & Air and was employed by South African Airways & British Airways. He has devoted his career to the work of Aviation. His vivid and experience combined presentation was impressive. He gave real life examples about errors by pilots, flight crews and ground maintainers, and emphasized that most failures in aircraft are caused by series of faults and not by just one specific error.
