On December 15th, an inauguration ceremony of the student chapters of Liaoning Aeronautics and Astronautics Institution was held in the international academic conference hall of SAU. About 300 representatives of students who came from science and engineering clubs of SAU attended the ceremony.
On the meeting, the general secretary of Liaoning Aeronautics and Astronautics Institution, Mr. Wang Yongqian, announced the founding of the student chapters. The general secretary of the CSAA also attended the meeting and presented certificates to the students of SAU who won in the Fourth National "Future" Aircraft Competition.
The student chapters of Liaoning Aeronautics and Astronautics Institution is founded to develop students’ membership, push forward university students' technology innovation and provide a platform of information exchange for university students and technicians & enterprise managers. In addition, the students will participate some social activities of the Aeronautics and Astronautics Institution as volunteers, which will create more opportunities for them to join in the society.
