On October 11th, a series ceremony for the international students of SAU was held at the Blue-sky Theatre. All the international students and nearly 400 Chinese students presented the ceremony. Professor Xing Gucheng, Vice-president of SAU, Deans of relevant schools and departments, international agents and a student's parents were also invited to the occasion.
The ceremony included inauguration ceremony for the new students of 2010, scholarship award ceremony of 2009-2010 and welcome party of 2010. It was a night of cheer and splendidness.
This year, SAU got 19 new students from IPSA, France, and 8 from Asia, India and Africa, from where more are still coming.
Vice-president Xing expressed his warm welcome to the freshmen and his confidence to their future in his speech.
In the second part, more than 40 students were awarded scholarship. Golden certificates and the hearty applause from the audience approved their hardworking during the year.
Well, the welcome party pushed the ceremony to its climax of the night, where our students showed their talents to all.
