Visit to Sri Lanka and Nigeria

Form August 3 to August 26, 2010, Richard Chen, Dean of International Cooperation Department and Mr. Yang Xiaodong, professor of School of Aerospace Engineering went to five countries which included Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Nigeria and Ghana for cooperation visit.

Great achievements were made and some famous universities and important persons were also visited during their visit. In Sri Lanka, Richard visited University of Moratuwa and University of Sri Jayewardenepura for students exchange cooperation program. In Nigeria, he visited Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and talked with the Captain of Operation Bureau and Captain of Security Bureau of NCAA.

The purpose of the visit is to set up the ties with the airline companies and civil aviation authorities for the international students' degree recognization and employment after their graduation from SAU.

We hope that all the international students in SAU will focus on the theoretical study and practice during their stay here, make good use of the first-rank aeronautical manufacturing facilities on the campus and in the aeronautical companies of the city to improve their skills, thus to find good jobs after graduation.

We are confident that the best aeronautical manufacturing engineering education of China will benefit all the international students and parents in the near future.
