On July 22nd, the second conference for SAU international students' education was held. Professor Wang Wei, President of SAU, Professor Xing Gucheng, Vice-President of SAU, Deans of relevant schools and all the teachers of international students attended the meeting, with only one aim -- to enhance the international education of SAU.
Prof. Wang set the tone for the day with his opening speech when he congratulated teachers for their expertise, commitment and enthusiasm in their challenging and ground-breaking roles.
Peter and Margaret Fisher, Annie Wang and Matt, international lecturers of SAU dedicated their skills and expertise to make this event a success. As the main organizers of the seminar, they shared their creativity and experience to guide the day's activities towards building a successful international education team.
It was a significant step on the path of international students' education at SAU. With the theme of learning from each other, teachers were divided into different groups and had thoughtful and thought-provoking discussions on the skills of teaching. The group exercises produced very worthwhile suggestions for the future because of the abilities of the teachers and their willingness to share ideas. Presentations were also made by each group on how to create a successful teaching and learning experience to benefit students. Via the training, teachers improved on both the concept and method of teaching.
Congratulations and thanks to all the participants, staff and students who worked so hard to make the day a success.
Regular conferences this will continue in the future, where a bright prospect of the cause of international education of SAU can be foreseen.
