On June 28th, the graduation ceremony of IPSA students 2010 was held in the International Conference Hall of SAU. M. Consolo, Consul from the French Consulate in Shenyang and Professor Merran, Director of Development and Exchange of IPSA, were invited to witness the proceedings. Professor Wang Wei, Party Secretary of SAU, Professor Xing Gucheng, Vice-President of SAU and Deans of many relevant schools also attended the event.
M. Consolo highly praised the cooperation between IPSA and SAU, which he believes will surely enhance the friendship between the two nations.
To the graduates, both M. Consolo and Prof. Merran expressed their best wishes and their hopes that the students will achieve success in the very near future after their study life in China.
In his address on behalf of the students, Jonathan Borde told the audience of dignitaries and well-wishers "We had an experience that only a few people can aspire to, and our return to the old continent and the life we led for a couple of decades will make us realize how important experiencing difference is".
During the ceremony, Christophe LAM, Jonathan BORDE, Delphine WEISGERBER, Dera SALIFOU and Paul OLIVIER were awarded scholarships in recognition of their exemplary achievements in the final examinations and good performance throughout the academic year.
The 22 IPSA students crossed the stage one by one to receive their graduation certificates from Professor Wang Wei, reflecting their successful academic year in SAU, and lengthy photo-taking captured the unforgettable event.
