On June 17th, a delegation from the University of Amiens, France, visited SAU for a meeting to discuss further cooperation between the two universities. Members of the visiting delegation also attended the opening ceremony of the summer class of 2010, the first step in a co-operative venture between the University of Amiens and Shenyang Aerospace University. Mr. Xing Gucheng, Vice-President of SAU, Deans of relevant Schools and lecturers of the summer class attended the ceremony. Students from IPSA also showed their sincere support for their younger compatriots.
During the meeting, the two parties had an in-depth discussion of the project, focussing on the exchange of students and communication on research and lecturers and reaching consensus on many concerns.
To ensure the students will have a comprehensive understanding China as a result of the two months' program, various courses and extra-curricula activities have been organized, including Oral and Aural Chinese, Chinese Culture, Chinese Kungfu and travels to major cities in China.
