On May 21st, Mr. Alpay Uguz, Senior Manager, Process Planning & BC from BMW, Shenyang, visited SAU, and presented to the international students an informative and insightful lecture entitled "The work of an engineer".
During the lecture, Mr. Uguz gave the students a detailed description of the qualifications and skills required of an engineer. The students demonstrated their great interest in the lecture through their enthusiastic and intelligent participation, particularly during a lively question and answer session. Mr Uguz was generous in giving his time and in making detailed responses to the students' questions. The warm atmosphere went on until the last minute of the lecture.
Mr. Uguz also visited the international students' building and the labs of SAU; he was full of praise for both the living and study facilities of the university.
Later in the afternoon, Mr. Uguz met with Mr. Xing Gucheng, Vice-President of SAU. The meeting was friendly and productive and further in-depth contact is expected. SAU, and particularly the international students, are grateful to Mr. Uguz for his visit.
