Warm congratulations to our foreign expert teacher, Mr Les Brown, who was awarded first prize for the whole of Northern China in the Toastmaster's speech competition held recently in Beijing.
Les will go to Shanghai on the 9th of May to compete for the title of "2010 Best Speaker in China." The winner of that competition will compete internationally for the title of 2010 World Champion Speaker in America.
Our university is very proud of Les' achievement. He has made a considerable contribution to the life of the university, including through the Toastmaster's Club that he has established for our students. We wish him every success for the next phase of the competition.
