On April 14th, the "International Cultural Exchange of Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics---Sri Lankan Night" was held in the Blue-sky Theatre. Mr. Xing Gucheng, Vice President of SUAA, and Deans of many Schools of the University attended the party.
The occasion marked a celebration of the new year of Sri Lanka and Nepal to help our students from those countries enjoy a wonderful new year and to share their countries’ special celebrations with their Chinese hosts and international friends. The "Night" started with the ceremony of lighting light. The twinkling lights lit by our university’s leaders carried best wishes to the students.
The performance by both Chinese and international students was truly fantastic. Students from seven countries performed on stage. The Nigerian students’ singing was wonderfully stirring and rhythmic, we enjoyed amazing pop dances from students from Sri Lanka and the Maldives and the song "5 years time" performed by the French students was also a highlight.
The Night was a very significant event in the international life of the university, uniting students from all nations in warmth and friendship. Thanks and congratulations to all those involved!
