On October 23rd, 2009, the Inauguration Ceremony for the new International students of 2009 was held , while the Scholarship Award Ceremony of 2008-2009 Academic Year also launched at the occasion.
On the ceremony, Mr. Richard Chen, Director of International Cooperation Department, delivered a speech to all the new international students, he expressed his warm welcome to the new students and put future expectation forward to everyone. Then, both of the representatives of lecturers and students also give their speeches to all.
The scholarship award ceremony of 2008-2009 academic year was held after that. 19 students distinguished themselves after one year's hardworking and good performance during the year.
At the end, Mr. Richard also gave presentation to the new students, so as to help the students to get used to the life in China and be ready for the study life in a different culture.
