On October 9th, 2009, the International Students Education Symposium of SYIAE was held in the council chamber of Blue Sky Theatre. Mr. Wang Wei,president of SYIAE, Mr. Sun Xiaoping, vice-president of SYIAE and the directors of different schools of the university attended the meeting. The sumposium was presided over by Mr. Richard Chen, director of International Cooperation Department.
On the meeting, Mr. Sun Xiaoping made profound analysis to the present situation of international students education of SYIAE and put forward with proposals and constructive suggestions to the development of the work in the future. After that, the directors of different schools in charge of international students' teaching also shared their understanding and experience on international education to all.
Finally, Mr. Wang Wei presented conclusive speech to the meeting. He gave high credit to the work of international students education, but also pointed out the challenges in front of us. He encouraged everyone to strengthen the management and make contribution to the international students education of the whole university.
The successful holding of the conference gave a clear development direction and goals to the international students eduction of SYIAE, also with great guiding significance for the future.
