On September 28th, Mr. John Soren Pettersson, the vice-president of Karlstad university, Sweden, visited SYIAE and had a cordial meeting with Mr. Sun Xiaoping, vice-president of SYIAE.
In the afternoon, under the guidance of Mr. Richard Chen, Mr. Pettersson visited the campus and the facilities, such as library, labs and engineering training center in the university.
Later, in the International Cooperation Department, a meeting was held between the head of the two universities. During the meeting, both of the parties put forward with their proposals of cooperation between the two universities and shared concerns on eduation. Finally, an agreement was signed between the two parties.
Hopefully, the first batch of students of SYIAE and enjoy their study life in Sweden in January.
Further cooperation are expected by both of the parties.
