On September 10th, 2009, the Chinese Club of SYIAE organized by the International Cooperation Department launched its first show in the International Students Apartment.
Presided over by Miss. Tian Huiting, Chinese teacher of the international students and Jerry from Sri Lankan body, the first night of Chinese club gave international students a wonderful experience of the Chinese culture.
During the night of the club, about 30 international students enjoyed the culture of Chinese tea, Chinese Kongfu and Chinese national dress and many other things. Every student learned the Chinese song:"Tao Hua Duo Duo Kai" together. Ampaw Selina Oduro from Ghana, Ogunleye Damilola Israel from Nigeria and Dharma Bir Chaudhary from Nepal was awarded for their participation of singing the Chinese song that they have just learned to the audience.
Finally, the first night of the Chinese Club came to an end after the fun game of learning Chinese songs, but the next activity is expected by all.
