On August 13th, 2009, Professor Esling Claude, from University of Metz, France, visited SYIAE and had a cordial meeting with Mr. Wang Wei, president of SYIAE and Mr. Sun Xiaoping, vice-president of SYIAE.
In the morning, under the guidance of Mr. Wang Wei and Mr. Sun Xiaoping, Professor Esling Claude visited the campus and laboratories of SYIAE.
Later, in the conference room of International Cooperation Department, a meeting was organized between Professor Esling Claude and the leaders of SYIAE. On the meeting, both sides present each other with brief introduction of own university. The exchanges were cordial, and both sides expressed a desire for further cooperation in the future and offered proposals for both cooperation and improvements in university teaching.
At the conclusion of the talks, Mr. Wang Wei presented a gift to Mr. Esling Claude. Further cooperation between the two parties are expected by everyone.
Professor Esling Claude is a full professor of exceptional class of Metz University. Presently, he is a member of University Council, Faculty, SF2M andDGM, with research domains of Electromagnetic processing of metallic materials (solid state phase transformation) and Crystallography, deformation mechanisms of metallic materials and scientific production: 22 supervised thesis,134 publications(quoted by web of science)and 2 books, 20 keynote or plenary lectures in international conferences, chairman of 2 international conferences.
