On June 12th, 2009, the Ninth "Flower in May" Poetry Reading Contest jointly organized by the Propaganda Department and the Youth League Committee of SYIAE was held in the Blue Sky Theatre.
The contest was held under the theme of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China. Many school leaders and more than 700 people watched the contest.
