SYIAE's international profile received yet another boost with the visit of two distinguished French guests on March 18th. Mr. Pascal Frachet, Vice-president of Amiens University and Mr. Kerguenec, President of Alliance Francaise in Dalian, toured the Practice Training Center and International Students' Apartment. (Alliance Francaise is an organisation whose mission is to promote French language and culture outside France; it is partly subsidised by the French government).
Later a conference was held between the French educational delegation and SYIAE. President Wang Wei and Vice-president Sun Xiaoping of SYIAE attended the meeting. Both sides offered detailed proposals for both inter-school cooperation and improvements in university teaching. The exchanges were cordial, and both sides expressed a desire for further cooperation in the future.
