Since 2004, 7 of our foreign teachers and experts have been awarded either the Friendship Prize or the Outstanding Foreign Experts Prize. In 2007, Professor Bernhard Raninger from Austria received the National Friendship Prize, so was granted a meeting with Premier Wen Jiabao.
The contributions of the foreign teachers have brought new teaching concepts and methodologies to SYIAE, which have, in turn, promoted foreign language teaching, curriculum development and scientific research at our university. Their legacy to SYIAE will be forever appreciated.
