On April 29, the University's 29th Sports Meeting was held at the stadium. More than ten thousand students and lectures attended the opening ceremony. 13 foreign lecturers and 67 international students from 18 countries participated in the ceremony.

The sport meeting includes a series of activities. International lecturers and students took part in such competitions as relay race, short-distance running, long-distance running, long jump, javelin throw and discus throw. Their active participation gave a very good impression on the people at the university.
