Guest professor of SYIAE, world famous airframe consultant, professor Michael C. Y. visited SYIAE and delivered a speech at the press hall from April 14th to 15th. His speech centered on the issue of Structural Design of Compound Materials of Civil Airplane.
Professor Niu spoke of the general criterion of structure of civil airplane, the use of metal and compound materials, research on big passenger planes in China, etc. His lecture was sophisticated and knowledgeable thus the listeners applauded from time to time.
