A Mid-autumn party was held on 24 September 2007 for all the international students and teachers.  It was held in the large meeting hall in the Aerospace Building.It was a very successful and enjoyable party with over 60 students and teachers attending.

They watched the perfect full moon and listened to the story of Chang E. The party was held not only to celebrate  Mid-Autumn Day but also to help them to better understand Chinese culture. Some of the students and teachers also entertained the group by playing the guitar and singing.
