On September 5, teaching seminar for international students was held in the conference room of International Education College (IEC). The meeting was presided over by Pearl Liu, Party Secretary of IEC. The deans from colleges, discipline directors and academics of SAU attended the meeting.

Dean Richard Chen briefed on the current situation and direction for future development of IEC. And then he emphasized the importance of teaching, especially the internship. Pearl gave the reports on passing rate of final exam, attendance and classroom discipline of last semester. Li Xuan, Deputy Dean of College of Electronic and Information Engineering believed that teaching should focus on the academics; and the process monitoring of teaching quality is quite crucial. During the seminar, academics also discussed the problems of graduation project, textbooks and teaching equipment. Finally, Guan Wei, Deputy Dean of IEC emphasized the key works of this semester: revising the syllabus, standardizing the management of teaching document and managing the class attendance.
