In order to improve the quality of Chinese language teaching for international students, a seminar was held in the conference room on September 6. The seminar was presided over by Wendy Yin, head of Chinese Teaching and Research Office. Prof. Dong Cui, from Shenyang Normal University was invited to IEC and discuss several topics on language teaching methods. Deputy dean Guan Wei attended the seminar.

In the seminar, Prof. Guan gave brief introduction to international education situation of SAU and said SAU is steadily improving the teaching resources and providing more opportunities for academics to strengthen their teaching skills and broaden vision. 

Prof. Dong gave some suggestions on language teaching methods combined with her Chinese teaching experience, and answered the questions raised by the colleagues.

At the end of the seminar, Wendy Yin thanked all the academics who have made effort to Chinese teaching and suggested new assessment standard for teaching.
