Introduction to College of Electronics Information Engineering


College of Electronics Information Engineering, which is developed from the earliest electronic engineering department, currently has two undergraduate majors: Electronic Information Engineering and Communication Engineering of which one is a national specialty and the other is a key support major in Liaoning Province. The college provides two master's degrees programs: information and communication engineering and electronics and communication engineering.


The college currently has 72 faculty members and 53 full-time teachers, including 4 professors, 29 associate professors, 20 master supervisors.
The college has high-quality practical teaching conditions, including two provincial-level scientific research platforms. The total area of the experimental center is more than 5,000 square meters, including electrical laboratories, circuit laboratories, analog electrical laboratories, digital electrical laboratories, etc.


In recent years, the college has undertaken key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Fund Project, AVIC Aviation Fund Project, Liaoning Education Department Fund Project, Shenyang Scientific and technological research project and many other basic scientific research projects.


In recent years, the college has actively organized students to participate in various competitions and achieved excellent results. The students has won 1 National Second Prize of National College Student Electronic Design Contest, more than 40 provincial first, second, and third prizes; 6 Second Prize of International Mathematical Modeling Contest; more than 20 National First and Second Prizes of National University Mathematical Modeling Contest; more than 20 provincial first, second and third prizes in Freescale National Smart Car Competition; two Liaoning silver prizes in the national "Internet +" competition; one first prize and one second prize in the national university student robot competition; and 1 first prize and 1 second prize in the National College Student Embedded Chip and Design Competition.
