Introduction to College of Economics and Management
College of Economics and Management was founded in 2008. Currently, there are 82 faculty members, 72 of whom are full-time teachers that include 11 professors, 35 associate professors, and 43 teachers with doctoral degree. 96% of teachers have obtained master or doctoral degree.
College of Economics and Management has General Aviation Industry Development Research Center as a key new type of think tank in Liaoning province. It has the right to confer Academic Master's degree in Business Administration and Professional Master's degree in Engineering Management, Tourism Management and Project Management.
In the past five years, the college has undertaken 24 national and provincial-level scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Humanities and Social Sciences Foundation of Ministry of Education, Foundation of Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Liaoning Provincial Social Science Foundation, and Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation. It has published more than 200 academic papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, including 100 papers in SCI/SSCI, CSSCI and Chinese core journals. There are more than 20 academic monographs, and more than 30 publicly published textbooks, of which 3 textbooks have been selected for Provincial Planning Textbook in Liaoning Province.
The college includes 8 undergraduate majors and a provincial-level quality course of Accounting and a provincial-level teaching team of Modern Enterprise Management. In the past five years, it has won two second prizes of Teaching Fruits in Liaoning Province. In 2017, Information Management and Information System was selected into the Provincial-level Innovation and Entrepreneurship Reform Program.
Experimental Teaching Center has cross-professional internship training platform, Logistics Simulation and Control Laboratory, ERP Sand Table Simulation Laboratory, Behavior Observation and Recruitment Training Room, Information Management Laboratory, Financial Simulation Laboratories and other internship training rooms.
