With colorful lanterns illuminating the market, students wandered through the bustling stalls. They indulged in a variety of mouthwatering Chinese foods like dumplings and sweet rice cakes, believed to bring luck for the New Year. The highlight of the trip was exploring the diverse array of street food and restaurants offering different types of Chinese cuisine. From spicy Sichuan dishes to delicate Cantonese dim sum, students savored the rich flavors and culinary delights of China.

In place of traditional performances, students enjoyed the lively ambiance of the market, filled with laughter and chatter. They relished the opportunity to try different foods, chat with local vendors, and soak in the festive atmosphere. Additionally, there were fun activities like writing lucky messages and trying their hand at traditional paper crafts. It was a joyous occasion where students bonded over shared experiences and learned about Chinese customs together.

Students expressed gratitude to IEC for organizing such a memorable event, highlighting it as one of the best ways to celebrate Chinese New Year and connect with fellow students at SAU.
