In a showcase of outstanding negotiation skills and strategic acumen, IEC students emerged victorious in 2023 International Negotiation Contest for College Students which was held in SAU from 25th to 26th, November, 2023. In a historic achievement, IEC students secured the first positions in both the online and on-site categories of the competition and 4 international students earned the title of Excellent Negotiators in a national competition with the unwavering guidance of Prof. Wang Ke from College of Economics and Management.
It was a prestigious event that brought together more than 160 talented teams from across China, including more than 30 teams of international students. The competition featured both on-site and online components, providing a comprehensive platform for participants. The intensity and competition of the second round reached new heights on November 26, 2023. Judges and experts in the field scrutinized these negotiations and assigned the scores to participants based on their negotiation skills. After several rounds of tense negotiations, many participants considered this competition was more than a contest; it was a journey of growth, collaboration and learning.
This success is a testament to IEC’s dedication to providing students with a platform to develop critical negotiation skills and preparing them for the dynamic challenges of the business world.
