SAU delegation led by President Li Rundong visits Germany

From November 22 to 26, Prof. Li Rundong, President of SAU was invited to lead a delegation to Steinbeis Global Institute, Germany for collaboration and exchange.


During the visit, Prof. Li Rundong was warmly received by Professor Michael Auer, Chairman of the Steinbeis Foundation, Professor Walter Beck, Vice-Chancellor of Steinbeis University and Dean of the School of Management and Technology, Professor Bertram Lohmueller, Director of the Steinbeis Global Institute, and Ms. Ma Juan, chief representative of China Region. The two sides held detailed consultations on cooperation in the fields of education and scientific research, introduced the educational situation and educational characteristics of their respective institutions, and proposed innovative forms of cooperation and the idea of building joint scientific research platforms for the establishment of joint cooperative university and technology transfer centers.


In addition, SAU also had in-depth and detailed exchanges with the heads of relevant colleges and departments on scientific research and education cooperation in the fields of energy and environmental systems engineering, computer science and technology, mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, intelligent manufacturing, electronic information and communication engineering, automation and other disciplines, and exchanged views on key issues such as supporting the scale and quantity of enterprises and industrialization projects. Both parties reached a number of cooperation intentions.


It is expected that the two sides will continue to maintain contact and have further communication on the specific implementation details of future cooperation.


This visit and exchange have deepened the understanding of each other's educational characteristics, training goals and training systems, enhanced the friendship between the two sides, and laid a solid foundation for further practical cooperation in the future.
