Cold weather generally makes electric malfunctions more prone to happen. Therefore, as winter approaches, rules and regulations on fire safety should be strictly followed. It is the students' responsibility to ensure that the risk of a fire accident is minimal by taking several measures.

Firstly, students should not bring any inflammable object into any enclosed room such as room or dormitory. Students should ensure that power is cut off when leaving the room. Unplug all charging devices (such as mobile phones, computers, tablets, etc.) and turn off all lights.

Moreover, the use of electric appliances in dormitories is cautioned; It is forbidden to use the products without certification of "CCC" (China Compulsory Certification) or products with no produce date, no certification, and no manufacturer. It is also forbidden to use high-power appliances with more than 450w in student dormitories.

With the equipment that is allowed, make sure they are in good condition and has no open wiring while pulling of electrical wiring, damaging the power system

of the dormitory, and embezzling the public electricity is prohibited.

In classrooms, students should abide by the laboratory safety operation specifications, and use the laboratory equipment under the guidance of trained teachers, ensuring that each student involved is trained in the use of equipment such as pipeline, fire source, auxiliary instruments.

List of prohibited electric appliances in dormitory rooms include cooking appliances (e.g., ovens, stoves, rice cooker), electric heating equipment (e.g., heaters, blankets, hairdryers) and other electric appliances with hidden fire hazards.

In case of fire, please contact the school security department and dial "119".
