SAU received guests from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) led by Mr. Brian Thomas, Director of SVSU Global Engagement on November 30, 2018. Prof. Zhao Liqiang from Economics and Management College, Prof. Liu Yang, Dean of Design and Art College, Robert Pan, Deputy Dean of International Education College together with other academics attended the meeting.

Two parties had profound discussions that have lasted for two hours in a friendly and candid atmosphere. It was agreed that short-term programs in language, entrepreneurship, and major-related courses will be conducted and students from these two colleges will exchange for one semester or one year in next year.

Zhao and Liu discussed length, schedule and fee with SVSU delegates. “We also welcome SAU students to take 2+2 program in SVSU”, said Thomas.

“The competition in employment market is really fierce and students need master knowledge and have broader vision amid these challenges”, said Robert. International exchange programs are conducive to boosting innovation, personal capacity as well as language proficiency.
