On November 22, 2018, SAU delegation established new partnership with NED University of Engineering and Technology.

MOU was signed with NED to promote student and staff exchange programs, joint research projects and short-time language training. Richard Chen, Dean of International Education College and Robert Pan, Deputy Dean of International Education College were received by Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, Vice Chancellor of NED.

“We are delighted to know we have common development plan for international exchange and education”, said Mr. Richard. Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi expressed collaboration willingness and put forward some suggestions in order to initiate the partnership.

Besides, SAU delegation also visited old partner-Mehran University of Engineering and Technology. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Uqaili, Vice chancellor of MUET attended the welcome meeting. It was expected that joint student and staff programs, and international conference and symposiums will be developed. Mr. Richard and, Mr. Robert visited Electronics and Information Engineering College and Art Design College after meeting.

SAU conducted “1+1” master program in past five years with MUET in Environmental and Energy Engineering major and had attracted dozens of Pakistani students to join.
