On November 20, 2018, SAU delegation including Mr. Richard Chen, Dean of International Education College, and Mr. Robert Pan, Deputy Dean of International Education College, visited National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Asif Raza, Deputy Rector of NUST and two parties talked about the willingness to promote further collaboration in the fields of student and academic exchange, 2+2 program, joint seminar and research projects, etc. The delegation visited labs of Computer College and Engineering College. MOU was signed to enhance relationship and associations.

SAU delegation visited Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIK) after visiting NUST. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Jehangir Bashar, Rector and .Mr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Pro Rector. Both sides introduced the institution respectively and expressed interests in joint student and staff training programs, research projects as well as international conference.
