SAU Reaches Collaboration Agreement with Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic

Emergency Robot International Joint Laboratory was jointly launched by SAU and Technical University of Ostrava On November 2, 2018 to deepen bilateral relationship and promote scientific research between two institutions.

Vice President Wang Qi welcomed TUO delegation led by Prof. Ivo Hlavaty, Dean of TUO Mechanical Engineering Faculty and made the comment at the signing ceremony.

“SAU has been endeavoring to promote academic exchange and joint projects with our partner universities, and this lab will also respond to ‘Made in China 2025’ plan and strengthen educational and scientific collaboration among ‘B&R’ countries effectively”, said Wang.

                             

Both parties reached consensus on jointly launching the lab and signed agreement after friendly talks and exchange, followed by the unveiling ceremony in SAU Mechanical College.

The research will include kinematic of machinery, dynamics, control and trajectory planning of mobile robot.

                             

Prof. Petr Novak, Director of TUB Robotics Department gave a research presentation and the presentation attracted dozens of academics and students to watch and exchange.

Ivo Hlavaty said the lab is important as it has gathered excellent professors together to share knowledge and scientific projects and identify key issues so that both parties will contact future-oriented collaboration and make every effort to improve research ability of academics, conduct deep international exchange and cooperation as well as broaden global vision.
