Earlier in March, Liaoning Provincial Department of Education held a special award ceremony to honor the efforts of certain groups and individuals in the work of laboratory upgrading and apparatus management during 2004 to 2008. The Practice Training Center and Office of Academic Affairs of SYIAE were named "advanced collectives" in laboratory upgrading. In addition, Hu Guangling, Zhao Shuguo and Lu Mowu were honored as "advanced individuals."
Vice-president Sun Xiaoping and some experimental center principals of SYIAE attended the meeting, at which Zhou Haobo, vice-director of Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, gave an overview of Liaoning Province's progress in laboratory upgrading during 2004 to 2008 and gave credit to the contributions made by SYIAE.
In the second half of 2008 alone, SYIAE was awarded a total of 48 awards either for "advanced collectives" or "advanced individuals" including 27 awards for the school counselor team. Such public recognition confirms all the hard work done by SYIAE staff and gives much-deserved credit to their outstanding achievements.
