On November 25th, 2008, a training on fire fighting was organized jointly by the International Cooperation Department and Security Department of SYIAE.
The lecture was theory and practice combined. Firstly, The lecturer, Mr. Ren from the Security Department illustrated evacuation procedure in the event of a fire wtih two short videos. Then, in the interactive part, all the participants went over to the International Students Apartment and Mr. Ren familiarized the students with the location of the building's emergency exit and fire extinguishers, and with the correct usage of the fire extinguishers.
The lecture was a great success, both in promoting a greater awareness of fire safety, and in ensuring an even safer living environment for all international students.
