October 3rd, more than 200 schoolfellows, who graduated in 1978, returned to Beiling Campus of SYIAE and relived their entrance day in their mind.
There was the same welcome banner hang over the main building of the campus, which reads: "Welcome the new students of 1978". The schoolfellows all signed their names on the signature board for 30 years' reunion. Under the organization of 5 teachers who once taught them when they studied in the university, the schoolfellows revisited the classroom, held class meeting like old times and took photos together in the central garden. At 10 a.m. the same day, a get-together with the theme of Joy and Laughter in the campus was held in the academic report hall. The get-together was hosted by the president of students' union and the minister of literature department of the time. Songs, dance and music promoted the party to a climax.
In the afternoon, all the schoolfellows visited the new campus of SYIAE in Daoyi Development District where a ceremony for welcoming the schoolfellows was solemnly held. President Wang expressed his warm welcome to the schoolfellows first and then he introduced the development of SYIAE to them. Lastly, he expressed his wishes that the school fellows can keep in close touch with their mother school and make more contribution to it.
