2018 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held in Beijing. President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech on the opening ceremony, and proposed to create community of political, economic and cultural tolerance. Language communication and understanding is a top priority to both economic trade and cultural exchange. Therefore, Chinese language learning and teaching plays a decisive role in this trend.
Under this background, teaching Chinese as a foreign language is facing new opportunities and challenges. In order to seize the opportunity of the development of Chinese language education, realize the transmission of culture, and to overcome difficulties, Chinese language teachers need to pay attention to the construction of teachers’ team and teaching quality. On the basis of innovative teaching methods, Chinese language teachers shall strengthen integration of teaching resources, thus ensuring that Chinese language education better serves the economic construction.
